About
The RIT Sentinel is a free Ezine created to make up for what we perceieve to be the shortcomings of RIT’s only official newsmagazine, the Reporter. Although we do not claim to be a professional publication, we will make every effort to be one.
A part of our goal is to be a grassroots effort, publishing stories the people care about, not just what a few editors decide should be seen. Among others, we will publish stories about injustices committed against students, inconsistencies in the performance of various RIT departments, and random news about other things on or related to campus. At some point we plan to provide static pages like this one with more information for RIT students. We hope to be your place to go for news you care about.

To wit: RIT has nothing to do with this blog. RIT has no control over this blog. This is a public blog - if you’re going to write something sensitive, do it anonymously. Any information we collect in the process of your use of this blog will not be disclosed without an order from a court of law under any circumstances. This includes strong-arm bullshit from Student Conduct and Public Safety, as we (the administrators) are immune.
